Smart Choice TV recommends switching your internet modem and Smart Box or TV off for at least 10 min every week to ensure capacitors are completely discharged.

Smart Choice TV recommends at least 2GB RAM, 4GB preferred depending on application required. The higher your feed quality and sound quality the higher specs Smart Box, Smart TV, Phone, computer etc required. The device will buffer and freeze when the feed is too high for the device specifications.

S-Box devices are shipped with AMlogic processors. With much higher clock speeds and lower power consumption compared to older versions of the Cortex A9 core. The S-box lite will never be sold with less that 2GB DDR3 memory. The S-Box PLATINUM is shipped with 4GB DDR4 Memory and the Octa Core AMlogic smart CPU, custom ROM and applications to suite our customers every need for streaming, gaming and computing. The S-Box is Google Certified so you can update all your applications.

S-Box comes with extremely high specs like the AM logic chip set CPU that has higher clock speeds. We flash our own boxes and our engineers have made the firmware stable, fast and user friendly for the Ultimate OTT video streaming, computing, and gaming experience. Our S-box also comes with a wireless pointing AIR mouse with back keyboard.

Please make sure your TV or device is full Android and not a mix of Android and owner specific software or firmware. If you don’t have a full Android Smart TV, you need to wait for the cross-platform app.

The Smart Choice TV package comes with a service level agreement of 99,5% uptime of the feeds. The whole menu is set up for client satisfaction and ease of use. Most of the feeds are also categorized under SD, HD, and FHD. If your line speed is not so great or you are in a busy Metro or exchange with heavy data users living around your neighbourhood, you will see a lot of throttling and shaping on the data line from your supplier. Make sure you are with the right ISP who can give you 24/7 service and guarantees and make sure you take an uncapped line as our feeds are of extremely high quality and therefore require a fast and stable uncapped and preferably unshaped, unthrottled and a connection of minimum 10MB line speed. A new model Smart TV with high specs is required to run smoothly without any freezing or heat generation and low specs. No Smart TV on the market comes close to the functionality, speed, and stability of the S-Box. We prefer S-box or a high spec smart Box before a Smart TV today. Smart TV’s (even the known brands like Samsung and Sony) are overpriced and come with low specs especially RAM. Older models are rarely fitted with more that 1GB RAM, they are slow and hard to operate and chances are good it’s not going to be able to run Smart ChoiceTV on its highest quality as it will lag, hang or restart by itself because of heat generated and low specs. The S-Box is easy to use, even for the least tech-savvy user. The S-Box gets tested in extreme conditions and has high specs for quality streaming and high graphics games. The S-Box can be left for weeks to stream without any buffer, hanging or restarting of device. The S-Box was bench tested and passes all stress test.
